Is BetterMe a good program? ›

Available for free from the App Store or Google Play (with premium features available for purchase), this app encourages healthy mental and physical lifestyle changes in accessible ways.

If you signed up on Android, unsubscribe through the Google Play Store. If you subscribed on an iPhone or iPad, unsubscribe through the App Store. If you signed up through BetterMe's website, you can unsubscribe through the BetterMe mobile app or at BetterMe. World.

In our opinion, Noom® might be the better programme as it does contain some helpful information on behaviour change and psychology, as well as a human coach for support which can keep you motivated.

The app contains free access to "over 1500 workouts", a personal coach, daily personalised meal plans and progress tracking. The app also offers specialised workouts for pregnant women, the elderly and the disabled alongside specialised diets for those with conditions such as diabetes.

Wall Pilates isn't the most effective form of exercise for weight loss, as it primarily focuses on strength, balance, and flexibility (7). It's not intense enough to provide significant calorie burn, and a consistent cardiovascular exercise routine would be more effective for weight loss goals.

It's Just as Effective as Traditional Pilates
