SWTOR CZ-198 Reputation and Daily Area Guide (2024)

The CZ-198 Dailies are a set of very quick missions on a Czerka-controlled world you can repeat to earn Reputation and Rewards. The planet of CZ-198 is the first ever daily area to come with a reputation and the first to attach a two flashpoints to it’s storyline – so read on for tips!

How to Start

Story Requirements: If you would like to do the CZ-198 Dailies at the correct point in the story, you would start them after completing Rise of the Hutt Cartel. To be extra specific, the Patch 2.3 CZ-198 Flashpoint Storylines are on the main story path between the end of Hutt Cartel and beginning Oricon. The CZ Story is a very short intro to two flashpoints that don’t have solo modes and they aren’t super plot-relevant to the rest of the main story path so you could conceivably skip the story missions and simply go do the dailies whenever you want.

How to Start in the Story: To start the CZ-198 storyline, at level 55 or higher, Republic players can talk to RK-C3 located in the Galactic Trade Market section of the fleet, and Imperial players will speak to a droid named C-E29, also located in the Galactic Trade Market section of the fleet. These droids are also available near where you load in to CZ-198.

Early on Other Characters: You can run CZ-198 dailies even if you are not caught up on the story, as long as you are level 55+. The planet’s level cap is 56.

How to Get There: You can head to CZ-198 via either travelling directly in your ship, or by Accepting the Daily Area: CZ-198 weekly mission from the Solo Tab of the activities finder (icon of ‘three little people’ near your minimap).

Mission Board: The weekly terminal should be found via the repeatable mission indicator on your map from the base you land in. All of the missions will be on the missions board – no hidden or [area] ones this time.

Reputation

Reputation is a way of gaining favor with different groups by completing missions for them. As you level up your reputation rank, more rewards for that reputation track become available. Reputation is shared by all your characters on your server, so it’s legacy-wide.

By using multiple characters, you won’t be limited to how many CZ-198 missions you run, but you will still be gated by how many reputation points you can earn – you can only earn a hard limit of 12,000 reputation points per week.

There is one CZ-198 track simply renamed for each faction, The Adjudicators for Republic, and the Ordnance Acquisition Corps for Imperials – progress gained on Republic Side won’t need to be redone on Imperial side. The quests have different names on each side but are essentially the same quests on both factions.

Ranks

As you run CZ-198 Dailies, you’ll rank up your reputation, and each rank unlocks new rewards from the Imperial or Republic Reputation vendor in their respective hubs.

• None – 0 Reputation
• Outsider – 0/2,500 Reputation (2,500 total points needed)
• Newcomer – 0/5,000 Reputation (7,500 total points needed)
• Friend – 0/7,500 Reputation (15,000 total points needed)
• Hero – 0/10,000 Reputation (25,000 total points needed)
• Champion – 0/15,000 Reputation (40,000 total points needed)
• Legend – 0/30,000 Reputation (70,000 total points needed)

Tokens

Each type of token from CZ-198 gives you a different amount of Reputation, and it also changes based on what various boosts you have and whether you are subscribed or not:

• CZ-198 Lab Records: 270 Reputation (as a subscriber)
• Czerka Weapons Schematics: 630 Reputation (as a subscriber)
• “Vigilant” System Datafiles: 1440 Reputation (as a subscriber)

Other Rewards

Depending on your level when completing a CZ mission, there are also some additional rewards tied to some; exactly what per mission is on a table down below!

• Conquest Commendations (at max-level, [DAILY] missions give 3 each, [WEEKLY] gives 50): Conquest Commendations will be awarded for most Planetary Repeatables. It’s used to upgrade virtually every track of gear upgrade, in varying amounts.
• Tech Fragments (at max-level,[DAILY] missions give 30 each): Tech Fragments are an endgame currency used to buy Legendary Implants, Tacticals, materials for the best Augments in the game, and some older/cosmetic armors.
• Conquest Gear Piece: at max-level, the Weekly mission will award a Conquest Gear Box in addition. These have a minimum item level of 324, and are green quality.

Earning Reputation

• The Weekly “Daily Area” mission asks you to complete all 4 dailies and the Heroic and gives you the purple reputation token.
• The Heroic 2+ will also give the purple token.
• Each individual daily gives you a green reputation item.

[HEROIC 2+] Off Message

Defeat CZ-5X Eradicator Droid

Tips:

• From the mission terminal you accept this from, head down the hallways, ignoring side rooms, to the droid containment area. Head through either the north or south hallway (they’re mirrors of eachother) and follow it up to an elevator. Take this down to the shipping area for CZ, and go toward the ground floor. This heroic enemy is a single giant droid standing on the northeast portion of shipping tracks.
• This enemy is not particularly difficult – anyone with a healer companion out should be okay to solo it. It essentially just auto-attacks with a slightly larger hit every 6 seconds – only players who play gunslingers or snipers will see it use a special 3-second channeled attack for being in cover. No attacks are particularly threatening.
• In particular with CZ-198, the main difficulty is in getting credit for killing the droid, as this is the most popular daily area by far and during certain times of day this boss is being pulled all the time. Be assured, the mission objective location for it is correct, so wait patiently if it isn’t there at the moment – it respawns pretty fast. As of 7.0, you can share credit with people attacking it who are not in your party, so long the first person to strike it isn’t from the opposite faction. If this IS the case, help them out anyway. The faster it dies, the sooner you can attack the next one!

Investigate Waste Disposal Area

Tips:

• This mission takes place in the phased area after a 2nd set of elevators, on the ground floor of the shipping area. Head south from the Off Message Heroic Droid and you’ll find the elevators.
• You’ll be hemmed in by two force fields from the east and west – face the west (left from the entrance) force field after clearing out the mutated specimens.
• Above it, on your right, will be a pipe running along the ceiling. Right click it and your character will smash it with a ranged attack. This brings down the first field, so follow this path to the back and interact with the power junction box in this corner. Backtrack to the terminal to open the last field and head towards the open area with the anti-toxin to clear out a group of mutated specimens and attempt to loot it.
• A Czerka leftover in the form of Project DS-5 will appear to fight you for it – this creature tends to stop taking damage around 50% HP – to remedy this, break off and attack one of the side-tentacles helping it out. Once a side-tentacle goes down the main target should be vulnerable again. With a healer companion this should be solo-able by anyone. Loot the anti-toxin container to complete the mission.

[DAILY] Give and Take // What’s Yours Is Mine

Recover/Destroy Kolto Containers and Biotoxin Containers

Tips:

• This mission takes place across all of the Czerka daily area with the exception of the Anti-Toxin recovery phase. Starting in the first few hallways past the mission terminal, you’ll start to see these containers. Initially, Kolto containers are near the offices and cubicles before heading into the droid storage room, where biotoxin is more prevalent. Past these rooms and down the elevator, the walkway across this shipping area tends to be loaded with lots of kolto, while the ground floor with the Heroic objective has more biotoxin containers.
• In the Republic version of this mission, kolto is looted and biotoxins are destroyed. On Imperial, Biotoxins are looted and kolto is destroyed. This has no functional difference aside from a slight change in how long it takes to interact with each objective – both sides are looking for both containers in the same locations.

[DAILY] Manual Shutdown // Droid Demolition

Destroy Droid Containers: 0/5

Tips:

• After navigating the first few hallways past the mission pickup terminal on CZ, Manual Shutdown takes place in the wider room in the image above.
• Within this room are droid storage containers stacked back-to-back for the most part. Each will have an interactable blue panel on the front if it hasn’t just been used by another player. To complete this mission simply press five of them. This usually summons a hostile droid to fight.
• If this open room is out of containers to interact with due to high player volume, the respawn isn’t too long. For those in a hurry, the north and south hallways leading out of this room each contain a few siderooms with a few extra droid containers. None of these rooms have as many as the main room, but it’s a good place to grab one or two on busy days.

[DAILY] Workforce Reduction // Staff Cuts

Defeat Czerka Forces: 0/35

Tips:

• This mission takes place across all of the Czerka daily area, with the exception of the Anti-Toxin Recovery phase.
• Going out of your way for kills on this mission likely isn’t the most efficient use of your time – take care to complete every other objective first, just don’t be allergic to combat along the way.
• Once all other dailies are complete, you’ve likely had to defeat 35 enemies already unless you’ve been stealthing or the planet is very busy with players. In that case, the post-elevator ground floor area has plenty of Czerka forces – the droids in the bottom corners of the area (image above) are typically left alone by most players.

Hidden Lore Object

In addition to a hidden pet, macrobinoculars on CZ-198 can snag you the only lore object – though it’s well hidden. Stand at the corner of your shuttle area when landing on CZ – the one between both bridges going to the daily area and towards the vendors/flashpoints.

At the edge of this corner, you can look out with your macrobinoculars to see a glowing double-tower with a connecting bridge. Your aiming reticle will never turn from blue to orange, which can make finding the lore object tricky. Simply mouse-over the connecting bridge and click anyway – it’ll zoom in and get you the codex entry.

• I’m Gunna Get You, Czerka: Defeated 480 non-player opponents while on CZ-198.
• Down with the Corporate Elite: Defeated 30 opponents of Elite or Champion difficulty on CZ-198.
• Time to File: Completed all combat achievements on CZ-198.

PvP

• Czerka Biohazard: Kill 1980 players on CZ-198.
• Czerka Contractor: Completed all pvp achievements on CZ-198.

Missions

• Fourth Quarter Fiscal Profit:Completed the Weekly Czerka Mission a total of 30 times on CZ-198.
• Corporate Termination: Completed the mission: Staff Cuts as an Imperial Player or Workforce Reduction as a Republic Player.
• Application for Disposal:Completed the mission: Droid Demolition as an Imperial Player or Manual Shutdown as a Republic Player.
• Shareholders:Completed the mission: Whats Yours is Mine as an Imperial Player or Give and Take as a Republic Player.
• Majority Control:Completed the mission: Anti-toxin Acquisition as an Imperial Player or Anti-toxin Recovery as a Republic Player.

Rewards

The rewards are the same regardless of which faction you complete your Oricon Reputation on. There are of course two different reputation vendors, but they carry the exact same items, so there is no need to bring an opposite faction character over to earn all the rewards.
