As things stand, Italy will join group winners Spain in the last 16. They only need to avoid defeat against Croatia in order to progress. If the reigning champions lose and Albania win, however, the minnows will go through at their expense. Croatia also need to win to stand a chance of going through.
Germany, Switzerland, Spain and Portugal are the only teams to have booked their places in the next round, while Poland and Scotland are the only teams to have been eliminated.
Of the pre-tournament favourites, only Spain have performed to anywhere near the required standard. England, France and Portugal have all huffed and puffed and rode a considerable amount of luck, while Turkey, Georgia and Romania have quickly established themselves as neutrals' favourites, by virtue of going hell for leather.
Surprise surprise though, it's the hosts and three-time champions Germany that look by far the most cohesive of the teams at the tournament, with Jamal Musiala and Ilkay Gundogan two of the standout players so far.

Euro 2024 TV schedule
The BBC and ITV have a split of the games at Euro 2024. This is the UK TV schedule for the group stage of the tournament.
ITV games will be shown on ITV, ITVX, STV and STV Player. BBC games will be on BBC TV channels and iPlayer. The BBC and ITV will announce the TV schedule for the knockout games once the groups have concluded.

Can you watch Euro 2024 in 4K HDR?
Sadly, Euro 2024 will not be broadcast in 4K UHD. Nor will the Champions League final, for that matter. Both events will air in 1080p HDR instead.
That's an unfortunate downgrade on where things have been headed with sport shot and broadcast in high resolution. This has been put this down to a lack of interest in 4K broadcasts and the more technically challenging set-up required.
