Your Honor: Season 2 | Rotten Tomatoes (1) Graeme Blundell The Australian It’s an unsettling but distressing representation of what can happen to someone when it feels like all faith and hope and personal conviction have been taken away. Feb 25, 2023 Full Review Your Honor: Season 2 | Rotten Tomatoes (2) Nick Hilton Independent (UK) Nothing about Your Honor is actively bad and yet the sum of those parts is frustrating and unsatisfying. Perhaps they should’ve followed the advice of all good criminals and quit while they were ahead. Rated: 3/5 Feb 6, 2023 Full Review Your Honor: Season 2 | Rotten Tomatoes (3) Craig Mathieson The Age (Australia) The show is straining, but it has entertaining diversions -- Hope Davis’s gangster matriarch is wildly unhinged. Jan 12, 2023 Full Review Your Honor: Season 2 | Rotten Tomatoes (4) Dustin Rowles Pajiba It's messy, all over the place, and creator Peter Moffat throws the whole kitchen sink at the screen. It's also impossible to resist given the amount of talent involved. Feb 22, 2023 Full Review Your Honor: Season 2 | Rotten Tomatoes (5) Joel Keller Decider With a little bit less Cranston, a whole lot of confusing storytelling and characters that haven’t gotten any deeper than in Season 1, Your Honor‘s final season feels like an idea that was best left as just that: an idea. Jan 13, 2023 Full Review Your Honor: Season 2 | Rotten Tomatoes (6) Emma Kiely Collider It’s grim, slow, and not as exciting as the first season, but Your Honor Season 2 paints an authentic image of grief, corruption, and the fight for power. Eric Harrison R The show where the good people always lose. Not sure why it gets such a bad rap just because Cranston is a father named Michael with his wife’s name Robin, it’s a very different plot. It is no comparison to Breaking Bad, but that’s to be expected. I will say, as I opened with, I personally get tired of watching the bad people triumph, literally every time, but typically that sort of plot gets critical acclaim. It presents reality on a visceral level by showing the protagonist as a very flawed person that is trying to follow their convictions to do what is right. This is distinct from Breaking Bad in that after while Michael is motivated for selfish reasons, and that is admitted by him. In Your Honor, he was defeated by circ*mstances over and over while trying to do the right thing, repeatedly. It’s almost a bludgeoning. There are complex subplots which are intertwined with the main plot to a level they are nearly parallel. If it wasn’t Cranston I think it would have received critical acclaim, but the expectation was set too high because of his previous work. Enthralling story which is gut wrenching if you put yourself in each of the character’s shoes, and you will have “Sympathy for the Devil” with this one. Rated 5/5 Stars • Rated 5 out of 5 stars 06/26/24 Full Review Ross F I gave this two stars only because the whole cast that I loved in season one, returned for this season and did the best they could with what they were given as far as the script. That being said, I was not a fan of the writing for this season. While the performances kept me engaged, though not nearly as much as season one, it wasn't enough to save this show. The writing this season feels overconfident, yet lazy and quickly put together at the same time. Season one kept me on the edge of my seat with every episode. I also feel like the ramifications from season ones finale should have been drawn out a little more in season two. Rated 2/5 Stars • Rated 2 out of 5 stars 06/25/24 Full Review Travis Z Sure the plausability is ridiculous but it was very entertaining and suspenseful Rated 3.5/5 Stars • Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 06/23/24 Full Review DL W Gritty, interesting, heart wrenching. I there’s a season 3. Rated 5/5 Stars • Rated 5 out of 5 stars 06/22/24 Full Review Jennafer H I absolutely loved this show! If you are someone who seeks thrillers please watch & review! I’m so confused on why it’s rated so low, the acting was superb! I really wish a 3rd season was coming..
