What is the difference between a UPS Customer Center and The UPS Store®? (2024)

A UPS Customer Center is a UPS-owned and staffed shipping location equipped to assist you with any UPS international, air or ground package shipment. Most UPS Customer Centers are located on-site at UPS-operated facilities nationwide, and they are more frequently found in metropolitan areas. Hours of operation vary by location.

The UPS Store® locations are independently-owned and operated by licensed franchisees of Mail Boxes Etc., Inc., an indirect subsidiary of United Parcel Service, Inc.

You can drop off all Bikeflights shipments at a UPS Customer Center or a The UPS Store® location. When you drop off your shipments at UPS Customer Centers, there is no charge. Please be aware some The UPS Store® locations charge additional fees for serving as a dropoff location, and some will not have the ability to print your label or may charge you to print your label. We suggest labeling your box before dropoff whenever possible.

If you need help finding a dropoff location, please

contact our Support Team, or check thisonline tool. Deadlines for daily dropoffs vary by location. Be sure to ask for a receipt when you drop off your box or case.
