We are in 19th-century France, where the zeitgeist of science and technology reigns. The industrial revolution is in full swing, and not even the infinite horizon can stop the spirit of invention.
Jean Rocque Raltique is just 14 years old and already an exceptionally gifted and creative inventor pursuing a great dream: being able to fly. Although his previous aircraft designs have all crashed, this time, he is certain. Just as Jean is entering his latest achievement in the flying competition at the World’s Fair in Paris, he catches sight of the beautiful Nadia. Instantly taken by the mysterious exotic and her baby lion, Jean forgets the competition and follows the beautiful stranger wherever she goes. But Nadia is on the run from the wealthy Grandis and her henchmen, who want to steal a strange blue stone, the “Blue Water”, from her. And so fate leads the two young people together on an adventurous journey full of myths and legends …

Wir befinden uns im Frankreich des 19. Jahrhunderts, wo der Zeitgeist der Wissenschaft und der Technik herrscht. Die industrielle Revolution ist in vollem Gange und nicht einmal der unendliche Horizont kann den Erfindergeist noch aufhalten.
Jean Rocque Raltique ist gerade mal 14 Jahre alt und schon ein außergewöhnlich begabter und kreativer Erfinder, der einen großen Traum verfolgt: das Fliegen. Zwar sind seine bisherigen Flugzeugkonstruktionen allesamt abgestürzt, aber dieses Mal ist er sich seiner Sache sicher. Als Jean gerade beim Flugwettbewerb der Weltausstellung in Paris mit seiner neusten Errungenschaft teilnimmt, erblickt er die hübsche Nadia. Augenblicklich von der mysteriösen Exotin und ihrem Löwen-Baby eingenommen, vergisst Jean den Wettbewerb und folgt der schönen Unbekannten auf Schritt und Tritt. Doch Nadia ist auf der Flucht vor der wohlhabenden Grandis und deren Gefolgsmännern, die ihr einen seltsamen blauen Stein, den „Blue Water“, abjagen wollen. Und so führt das Schicksal die beiden Jugendlichen zusammen auf eine abenteuerliche Reise voller Mythen und Legenden …
