Homemade Pumpkin Spice Latte Non-Dairy, No-Sugar Recipe (1)

This richly decadent drink should be forbidden! Luckily for you it is a healthy alternative to anything you could possibly purchase and much cheaper to make too. My Healthy Pumpkin Pie Spice Latte will begin your day with a wonderful treat that is guilt free.

Harvest Blend for the Diffuser

Whether you actually like pumpkin in your coffee or not, I think we can all agree that autumn aromas are fall’s best gifts. This is the time of year when my diffuser works over time. I can’t bake a pumpkin pie every day, but my house can smell like I have! Thanks to essential oils like cinnamon, ginger, clove, and nutmeg we can come pretty close to replicating that fall-baking aroma.

Right now one of my favorite diffuser blends is a mix of citrus and spice. It reminds me of the orange peels, cloves, and cinnamon sticks my mom used to set to simmer on the wood stove.

  • 3 drops tangerine
  • 2 drops cassia
  • 1 drop clove
  • 60-80 ml of water

The Case of the Missing Pumpkin Spice Latte

Homemade Pumpkin Spice Latte Non-Dairy, No-Sugar Recipe (2)

So, which cup do you think is mine? Isn’t it obvious? I’d think so. I hope so. I planned for it be that way, in fact.

Why is one empty? Payback. Kind of a cathartic experience as I still recover from Pumpkin Spice Latte Fever!

Let me explain…

When I don’t feel like organic, low-acid Lifeboost Coffee, I enjoygreen tea.Matcha green tea, in fact. And I’ve been on a matcha kick for a few months now. Can’t get enough of the stuff!

As we approach Fall, I’ve been overtaken by the pumpkin spice latte craze that seems to have infectedeveryone elseand made myself apumpkin spice latte (matcha green teastyle) yesterday. Well, somehowMama Zmistakenly thought I made it for herbecause our mugs (obviously) look so similar. Not sure howelse toexplain it.

Needless to say, I was super disappointed when I stepped outside to make a conference call only to return tothe kitchen tofind an empty cup in the sink. What happened? She stole my latte. There’s no other way of saying it. Stole it.

When I questioned her about the alleged theft, she said she thought I made her a special treat and left it on the counter. In MY mug! I’m not kidding. This was her argument. Poor girl, she was grasping for straws at this point.

As I continued to litigate my case against her thieving way, something dawned on me. She wasn’t in her right mind. She must have been infected by the new bug that’s out there. The pumpkin spice latte bug!

Have you been infected? Don’t worry. It’s not that bad. Nothing a healthy pumpkin spice latte can’t fix!

Instructions

  1. Place the coconut cream, low-acid coffee, pumpkin puree, coconut oil, butter, stevia, and essential oils in a blender. Blend until frothy.
  2. Pour latte in a mug and garnish with pumpkin pie spice, if desired.

Pro-Tip– We recommend using a glass-bodied blender so essential oils won’t discolor the plastic. If you use a Vitamix or other plastic blender you may find the EOs stain the plastic. You can help avoid this by adding essential oil in the last step or in each cup individually.
