animals you have patience for life or yourself your family or your dog you're not going to make a very good animal Ms Miller named her farm She moved to the area about a year ago with three sugar gliders one bush baby one monkey three tropical birds one chinchilla one llama a Brahma bull nine horses three cats three dogs 10 goats three sheep and two geese All of the animals play an active role in her life and her business "Ac tion always had a clear sense that I would be working with animals" she said from her front porch which overlooks a pasture dotted with horses As her career began she found a job on an Arabian horse farm in Madison where she worked for the six years After two years at the horse farm the German manager of the oper ation bought eight baby lions and be gan training them for circus work Ms Miller said before and after her chores with the horses each day she would help him take care of the lions After a while he told her: go ing to lorida and taking my lions I'm going to book them for shows and I'm pninrr nn tho been withme all this I just wanted to give you the first op portunity to go with me if you or seven years Ms Miller and the trainer who she described as a second father traveled the country with the circus He helped her develop her own skills as a trainer eventually lead ing to her own exotic animal train ing business which she based out of Chicago
