  • Consider cooking your steak in the air fryer.
  • Slice across the grain of the steak, for a super tender bite.
  • Make sure your onion is cut into nice thin slices, you don’t want a big hit of onion overpowering the other flavors on the fork.
  • We do recommend that you make your homemade dressing since they are much healthier for you. Our steak salad dressing is great or you can make a balsamic vinaigrette instead.
  • Also, some people find blue cheese a bit too overpowering, you could swap blue cheese for feta or cotija cheese.

Question: for the marinade/dressing. Do I use all the marinade for the steak and then I save the marinade as my dressing? Or am I making two batches? Is it okay to use the marinade if you put the raw meat inside of it? Just asking….

    Reply

    • Rena says

Hi there. No you don’t make 2 batches. You only use 1/3 of the marinate/dressing for the steak and the rest you will use for the salad dressing.

Excellent! Only thing I did different was to pour the marinade into the fry pan I cooked the steak in, stirred together with the juices from the steak and heated it through then poured over the salad and it was so good. Definitely a keeper
