Job Description$18.00 AN HOUR - SCHEDULE: TUESDAY THROUGH SATURDAY 6:00 AM - 2:30 PM POSITION PURPOSEResponsible for processing, checking, verifying, and inventorying materials received. Completes related computer entries and documentation. Coordinates materials and finished goods storage and inventory levels with production personnel. Moves materials and finished goods to appropriate storage areas. Processes and ships finished goods. Completes related records, reports, and paperwork. Ensures that shipping and receiving functions are completed in accordance with Company standards and procedures.

Essential Position Functions

• Picking and pulling orders
• Processes materials received.
• Checks, verifies and tags materials. Checks receipts for proper quantities and item numbers.
• Enters receiving information into the computer and forwards necessary information to area personnel.
• Moves materials and finished goods to production or storage areas. Restocks shelves as needed.
• Identifies, tracks and resolves receiving errors or discrepancies. Initiates follow-up of missing, damaged or delayed goods.
• Rejects damaged goods and corrects or refers problems accordingly.
• Shipping
• Prepares finished goods shipments.
• Prepares and processes packing lists and enters the appropriate data into the computer.
• Ensures that outgoing orders and shipments are complete and correct.
• Prepares documentation and bills for delivery personnel.
• Identifies, tracks, and resolves shipping errors, problems, or delays. Stocking product
• Drive trucks - a valid driver's license is required for this position
• Operate a pallet jack and occasionally a forklift.
• Ensures temperature of coolers are monitored and meet specifications.
• Ensures the warehouse is clean and in good order and items are housed where they are supposed to be
• Follow and enforces GMPs and Food Safety Policies.
• Other duties as assigned.

Position QualificationsQualifications:

• High School diploma or equivalent
• Knowledge of shipping and receiving procedures and standards. Understanding related computer applications.
• Proficiency in operating warehouse machinery, including forklifts and pallet jacks
• Ability to lift up to 60 lbs.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience in a warehouse environment
• Familiarity with shipping and receiving procedures
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team
• Quality orientation.
• Understand and operate handheld computers.

Physical Activities And Requirements Of This PositionTalking: Especially where one must frequently convey detailed or important instructions or ideas accurately, loudly, or quickly. (Many jobs could be done without talking).

Reading/Writing: Must be proficient in reading and writing EnglishAverage Hearing: Able to hear average or normal conversations and receive ordinary information.

Repetitive Motions: Movements frequently and regularly required using the wrists, hands, fingers hips, back, knees, and/or ankles.

Average Hearing Ability: Average, ordinary, visual acuity necessary to prepare or inspect documents or products or operate machinery.

Physical Strength: Moderate/Heavy work; exerts up to 60 lbs. occasionally and/or up to 30 lbs. frequently. Rarely will need to exert up to 70 lbs. or more
