Bobby Brazier is 'lost' with out Strictly and misses Dianne
Strictly Come Dancing star Bobby Brazier has admitted he wanted to be voted off of the show in the early stages as he struggled with the attention. The 20-year-old made it all the way to the final with his professional dance partner Dianne Buswell before they performed together again on the nationwide tour.
Despite seemingly enjoying the process at the time, the EastEnders actor candidly revealed it wasn't quite what it seemed at the start as he wanted to leave. He shared: "I don't want to be famous. Maybe I did when I was younger, now I just want to act.
"I went on Strictly because dancing makes me happy. The more I learn about fame, the less I'm interested in it. A couple of weeks during Strictly, it got too much.
"I only felt peace when I came home. I wanted to get voted off," he added to Sunday Times Magazine. Bobby went on to explain that his mum Jade Goody's "very public" death back in 2009 turned him into a "shy kid" until he found the confidence to act and model.
Bobby and his younger brother Freddie got a taste of the limelight at a very young age due to their famous parents, former Big Brother star Jade and presenter Jeff Brazier. After doing some modelling in his late teens, he went on to gain further recognition in 2022 playing Freddie Slater in EastEnders.

Just months into the gig, he won the Rising Star gong at the National Television Awards.
Bobby took a brief break from acting to sign up to Strictly Come Dancing last year, which gained him a whole new fan base.
The actor received heaps throughout the competition for his efforts, but missed out on the Glitterball trophy to Ellie Leach and Vito Coppola.
During the series, he paid tribute to his late mother Jade, who died from cervical cancer on Mother's Day aged just 27.

Bobby and Dianne performed a contemporary routine for their Couple's Choice to Maxwell's A Woman's Worth and there was not a dry eye in the BBC studio.
Amongst those in tears was Bobby's dad Jeff who looked every inch the proud parent from the crowd alongside Freddie.
After the emotional performance, host Claudia Winkleman asked Bobby: "What a beautiful dance. What did that mean for you during rehearsals and in front of your dad and your brother... the whole audience?"
He replied: "I don't what to say. I just know how blessed I am. I have beautiful friends and a beautiful family. I'm here. I've got a beautiful partner.

"I get to dance to my favourite song and make people feel a story because we felt a story." Bobby added: "It's something that I'll never forget."
The BBC are yet to announce this year's Strictly line-up, however celebrity names in the mix so far include; Dame Laura Kenny, Hannah Waddingham, Roman Kemp, Gino D'Acampo and Jill Scott.
A source told The Mirror: “Hannah would be an incredible signing for Strictly this year and so far things are looking very positive. She loves the show.
"She has heard so much about it from Anton (Du Beke) and Hannah (his wife)– as she is a close friend to both – and is keen to do it."
The source went on to say taking part this year comes down to whether or not it could fit into her schedule, adding: "Obviously it’s a very big commitment, and she is incredibly in demand at the moment."
